New Year Resolutions

The beginning of every new year sees countless people have New Year resolutions. Acting as a stop watch for many people around the world, the New Year sees many people, subject themselves to resolutions they know they might never meet. 

Albert Einstein once said time was an illusion. Indeed, time is a human construct and as people live, they realize resolutions can be made at anytime during the year. 

Things to consider when making resolutions:

  1. Treat them as goals, to be successful they need to be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-Based)
  2. Resolutions are meant to solve a problem not create more problems
  3. Just like promises, if you make them honour them
  4. They are not January specific; don’t be scared to have resolutions in June
